Product Description

 

Piriton Tablets are used to relieve a wide range of allergic symptoms, including hayfever and other common allergies such as those caused by pets, house dust mites, and mould spores. They are effective in treating nettle rash, hives, skin allergies, and dermatitis, as well as prickly heat and heat rash. Piriton can also be used to manage allergic reactions to food, food additives, or medicines, and provides relief from discomfort caused by insect bites and stings. Additionally, it helps soothe the itchy rash associated with chickenpox. The active ingredient, Chlorphenamine Maleate, is an antihistamine that works by reducing symptoms such as itchiness, redness, swelling, tenderness, and irritation.

 

How to Use

 

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take one tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.

 

Children aged 6 to 12 years: Give ½ tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not give more than 6 half tablets in 24 hours.

 

Elderly: Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine, as you may be more likely to experience side effects, including confusion, and may need a lower daily dose. Maximum daily dose: 3 tablets (12 mg) in any 24 hours.

  • Drowsiness

  • Dry mouth

  • Fatigue

 

Storage Information

 

  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown on the pack.

  • Do not store above 30°C.
