Frequently Asked Questions
Is microsuction safe?
Yes. It is a widely used, clinician‑led technique performed under direct visualisation. We avoid water and work gently to protect the ear canal and eardrum
Will it hurt?
You may feel some pressure or mild noise from the suction, but most people find it comfortable. We stop immediately if you experience pain.
How long does it take?
Most appointments take 15–30 minutes including assessment, removal and re‑check.
Softening drops can help if the wax is hard or compacted. We will advise you during booking if they are recommended.
Do I need to use ear drops first?

We offer tracked express delivery, usually arriving within 24–48 hours after your prescription is approved. Remote or rural areas may take slightly longer.
If you’re not getting the results you hoped for or are experiencing side effects, our clinicians can review your case and safely transition you to another treatment option during a follow-up consultation.
Blood tests are not always required, but they may be recommended if you have certain health conditions or medications. If needed, we’ll guide you on how to get these done quickly.
If you experience mild side effects like nausea or tiredness, this is common and often settles. For severe symptoms — such as sudden abdominal pain, vomiting, or signs of an allergic reaction — stop treatment and seek urgent medical advice.
